Overwhelmed again
Days away and the packing continues, as well as the final arrangements for getting the hell out of here. It's been stressful, and deep down I'm scared we're not going to be able to get everything done. But we will, because we have to. And it will be worth it. *sigh*

Crunch time
A relatively non-productive weekend since so many people were in town for the BBQ. We did manage to pull together last night and get a few more things boxed and do a little bit of cleaning. Everything's still a horrible mess though.
Bill from Matthew Moving (an Allied agent) will be out at 2:30 this afternoon to give us an estimate. I'm hoping he comes in much lower than the sleezeball from the other company.
In other news, I found a gun that I think I liked. Going shooting with Rob this evening to see if I like the way it handles and see what the recoil is like.

Sleep
Richard was up doing maintenance until 7am. I'd been up every half hour since then. I finally got to sleep around 9, and I kept having dreams about Fuckchop showing up, breaking into our car, and then stealing all of our furniture with some sort of court order. In the dream I kept telling myself "She can't do that, she's insane, we're legally in the right" End of dream... then 10 minutes later, the doorbell starts ringing (not in the dream, but for real), and there's banging on the door. Who is it? Noneother than Fuckchop. Reiterating her insane demands about her "brand new house", and how she quit her job again.
I can't wait to be out of this festering hellhole.

Tons of progress
Mt. Laundry is no more. I've packed everything off that bed, gone through the clothes, thrown out a semi decent pile of really worn things, and have a very decent pile of things to donate.
Richard's made good progress with packing up things in his office, and with the exception of the kitchen, I think we're well on our way to a completely packed and ready house.

Trash out
Still in the midst of packing, and trying to figure out what's left to do. There's still work to be done in my office, more laundry to be done and cleared out, and lots of work to do in the kitchen. Things are coming together slowly, but surely. Two weeks to get it all done, really.

So close yet so far
We've been making good progress on cleaning and packing, but there's still much more to do. The 3 day weekend has been well placed, but we really need to make the most of it. Next weekend most of Saturday will be shot with the BBQ, and the weekend after that is the last weekend before the big stuff starts happening.
I'm less nervous about everything at this point. Since I can see an endpoint in less than three weeks, it's definitely not something that's unbearable.
