So, my parents have their house on the market -- the one I grew up in. They have a new house waiting for them, and my mom is getting panicky because they've had their house on the market for two months. Long story on this, but today they got an absolutely insulting offer from someone, and my parents counteroffered something lower than they originally wanted to go. And the pigfuckers took my parents offer, pending home inspection. Here's how bad my parents' realtor is. I asked my mom if she had kick out on the offer. She did not know what this was. I had to try to explain contingency with and without kick out. Lordy. I love them, but they drive me insane :)
The cold snap is coming through, but I went ahead and ran some errands today. I also got some pictures of the sunbreaks this afternoon -- I'll upload later, but it was beautiful :) I need to make more progress on cleaning. I really only have tomorrow to work on things since I'm going to be busy most of the day Wednesday. What gets done, gets done, and some progress is better than no progress at all.
Tonight I'm going to pick through beans -- I think I'll have enough time to bake beans after I get back from getting my hair done on Wednesday, and before Richard gets home. Beanpot and cornbread, yay!
